This detached house, built in 1971, was completely renovated several years ago and is located in a very quiet and popular residential area in Alt-Fürstätt, just a few hundred meters from the city center and the train station.

The basement was constructed of waterproof concrete, while the ground floor and first floor were built with 36.5 cm thick brick walls, providing both structural and energy-efficient construction. The exterior wall on the first floor features approximately 10 cm of insulation with larch wood paneling, and the attic floor and sloping ceilings were insulated with 20 cm thick mineral wool.

An 18 m² solar thermal system with a 2,000 l buffer tank supplies the house with hot water in the summer and supports the oil heating system in the winter. Underfloor heating provides pleasant warmth in the bathroom on the first floor and in the hallway on the ground floor, while all other rooms are heated with traditional wall-mounted radiators.

The hallway, entrance hall, and stairs are covered in travertine, and the living room has solid wood flooring. Durable vinyl parquet flooring was installed in the kitchen and bathrooms. The children’s rooms have cork flooring.
